My name is Gabe Carey.

In 2023, I decided to pursue the outlandish goal of making my own automotive media business. Outlandish because I’d spent the past decade desk-jockeying my heart out in the so-called concrete jungle where dreams are made of. Outlandish because, at the time, my automotive background was nothing more than hosting my humble little car meets (with the occasional celebrity pop-in) and penning a handful of EV explainers for a substandard Substack whose name escapes me.

Through all the ups and downs, one thing remained constant: my passion for the automotive industry and the technology that fuels it. Initially, I had my sights set on clearing up misconceptions around electric vehicles—to some extent, I still do.
